Apparently, someone wrote a blog about watching Julie & Julia every day for a year.

He does, indeed. Here, I’ll help you out:

Voilà. Arthur Misher.

To be honest, I’m a little surprised that slipped through the cracks of 365 viewings. Especially with the amount of time spent analyzing every little thing in the movie, if only to stay sane.

Now, don’t get me wrong… I love Julie & Julia. I think it might be the only movie I’ve ever seen two days in a row in theatres. I watched it last night, actually.
Gosh, though. I don’t think I could watch anything 365 days in a row, no matter how much I loved it. (Except maybe She Loves Me.) But, hey, a stunt blog about a movie about a stunt blog is kind of a fun thing to, um… blog about… and I really shouldn’t write these things late at night.
And just in case this post hasn’t gotten meta enough:

Um, about that…
(BTW, I didn’t realize Stephen Bogardus was in Julie & Julia and I know I’ve watched it since I saw God of Carnage. Before last night, I mean. Guess my observational skills need some sharpening, too.)
I feel like there should be a feedback button…
…to congratulate Google for finally getting a picture of the right person for this little blurb.

Dear Friend,
When a day brings petty aggravations
and my poor frayed nerves are all askew,
I forget these unimportant matters
pouring out my hopes and dreams to you.
As I rest my pen and look around me,
I can see the summer disappear.
Oh, Dear Friend—all at once—autumn’s here.

The Huntington Theatre is really good about posting easy to find high-res production photos. Williamstown Theatre Festival? Not quite as consistent. For example, my first post. I haven’t been able to find a high-res version of that picture online. Luckily I save everything WTF sends me, too, because I was able to scan this from a mailer from 2009. Still not perfect, because, hey, it’s a scan but pretty cool anyway.
